Brownsburg has no town trash contract. The town's recycling page names two things: curbside recycling through WM and Republic Services, and the Street Department's free limb and leaf pickup. That is the whole list. A couch, a mattress or a dead freezer is not on it.

ClearPath is Mason McKinney's crew. We live and work here. You call or text (317) 554-9382, we look at the job, you get the number, and we carry it out.

What the town will pick up

Limbs, twice a year. The Street Department comes by once in spring and once in fall. One pile per house, no bigger than 8 feet long, 6 feet wide and 4 feet tall. Tree material only, so no lumber, root balls or firewood. Homes north of Main Street and homes south of it get different weeks. A second pile, or a pile that's too big, stays where it is.

Leaves, in October. They go in brown paper bags taped shut, at the curb by 6 a.m. on your week. Plastic bags do not get touched.

What the county will take

Hendricks County has no permanent hazardous waste site. It runs five Tox-Away Days a year, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at different spots around the county. Dates are on the county's site. They take paint, chemicals, batteries and electronics. A fridge or freezer with Freon is $10. A TV is $20, or $25 for a big one. Cash or check. They will not take furniture, mattresses or construction material at all.

The county's yard waste center at 90 Mardale Drive here in town is open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, April through November. It charges by the bag or the truckload, up to $2.25 for a 32-gallon bag and $10.50 and up for a 6-foot truck bed. You need the truck, and it won't take stumps, root balls, sod or soil.

Where ClearPath comes in

We are a Brownsburg company. Mason McKinney owns it and answers the phone at (317) 554-9382. Text him a photo of the pile, or fill out the form, and you get a real number for your job before anything gets lifted. Not a price chart. Then we carry it out of the garage, the basement or the backyard, load the trailer and go.

Anything that still has life in it goes to a donation center before the rest goes to the landfill. Mason started ClearPath because he got tired of watching good stuff end up in one.

What we do in Brownsburg

Garages. Several of our job photos are garage cleanouts in Brownsburg, and one is a mattress pickup here in town. One customer wrote, "I just showed him what needed removed and 15 minutes later he texted me that he was done." Another said the garage was "the cleanest it's been in at-least 4 years."

The yard is the other one. When the limb pickup has come and gone and there's still a pile, or the pile has shrubs and root balls in it, that's yard debris removal. One review lists "garbage bags of old mulch," six large shrubs and a trimmed holly tree.

We also do furniture and appliance removal, hot tub removal, shed demolition and property cleanouts. If you'd rather load it yourself, we rent a trailer. One customer rented one for 24 hours and cleared a basement, garage, attic and barn with it. See trailer rental.

What we don't take

Paint, solvents, fuel and chemicals. Those go to a Tox-Away Day. We don't haul tires either. The county takes the first four free at the same event. And we don't do demolition beyond sheds and small structures.

I've used Clear Path Junk Removal for two separate jobs and have had a great experience both times. Great service, fair pricing, and excellent results. Mason is extremely responsive, always follows up, and consistently goes above and beyond to exceed expectations.

Raked up and removed garbage bags of old mulch, removed 6 old large shrubs and trimmed a holly tree. Very professional, good work ethic, efficient and personable. Would highly recommend them for removal of household items, storage unit items, office items and clean up of yards.

We rented a trailer for 24 hours to clear out unused items taking up space in our basement, garage, attic, and barn and we couldn't have been happier. He was prompt, kind, and very responsive! All we had to do was tell him when we needed it and when we were done and he took care of the rest.

Brownsburg junk removal questions

Something else? Call or text (317) 554-9382.

Do I have to be home while you work?

Walk us through it at the start so we take the right things and leave the rest. One customer wrote that he showed Mason what needed removed and 15 minutes later got a text that it was done.

How do you price a job?

We look at it first, then give you one number for the whole thing. There is no price list on this site because Mason does not work from one. The quote is free, by call, text or the form.

Will you take a mattress?

Yes. Tox-Away Day will not, and Brownsburg has no town bulk pickup. We have done mattress pickups here in town.

What happens to my stuff?

Usable things get dropped at a donation center on the way. What is left is landfill.

Can't the town take my limbs?

Once in spring and once in fall, one pile up to 8 by 6 by 4 feet, tree material only. Past that, or if it's shrubs and root balls, call us.
